Key Responsibilities:
- Technological Leadership:
- Define the company's technological vision and develop strategies to maintain, evolve, and enrich our blockchain technology solution with new use cases
- Oversee all technological activities of the company and ensure they are aligned with strategic and business objectives
- Build and lead a high-performing tech team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive individual and collective success
- Product Development:
- Lead the design, development, and launch of blockchain-based products from conception to implementation
- Lead development teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of innovative blockchain-based solutions
- Team Management:
- Build and lead a high-performance tech team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence
- Provide guidance and technical support to the team, promoting professional growth and skill development
- Research and Development:
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in blockchain technology and explore new application opportunities for our company
- Lead research and development projects to enhance our capabilities in blockchain technology and keep us at the forefront of the field
- Represent the company in technical working groups of various public and private Digital Identity entities. Incorporating best practices into the company´s team and promoting the company's strategic and product vision in different forums
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in a technical leadership role, preferably as a Chief Technology Officer, with a focus on blockchain technology
- Deep understanding of the fundamentals of blockchain technology, including cryptography, smart contracts, and consensus protocols. As well as Identity protocols under W3C framework and eIdas 2.0 framework
- Experience in designing and developing blockchain-based applications and solutions, using platforms such as Ethereum, Hyperledger, or similar
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and understandably to non-technical audiences
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary technical teams towards common goals
- Proved entrepreneurial and analytical mindset in finding solutions to complex problems with limited resources
- Being comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of uncertainty
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; a Master's or Ph.D. in Blockchain or related areas is preferred
- Previous experience in Startups is preferred
